Year 1 trip to the seaside!

This term we went to Chalkwell seaside as part of our learning in Year 1. We saw features of a seaside and later compared it to seasides from the past. We had great fun building sandcastles in the sun!
Year 1 trip to the Cemetery Park
Year 1 on: Learning in Year 1
Year 1 went to Cemetery Park to observe animals in the local area as part of our learning in Science.
We also visited the Discover Centre in Stratford as part of our learning in English. We had lots of fun making up stories and acting them out.
Year 1 - Picnic in the Park!

Year 1 enjoyed having a Teddy Bears' Picnic in the park to help celebrate end of topic learning. Parents joined in with the celebration! It was a wonderful day! We also baked oat cookies as part of our DT cooking project.
Persuasive letters

In Year 1, we have been busy writing persuasive letters to Mr Grant. We persuaded him to allow us to go to the Museum of Childhood next term! Have a look at some of our letters!
Our visit to the Mosque!

Year 1 visited the East London Mosque as part of our RE unit of work.
We learnt the main parts of a mosque and what happens inside. It was very interesting!

Year 2 visited the Natural History Museum as part of their learning in Science. They enjoyed discovering more facts about the animals they have been learning about in class.
Climate Action Day
Year 2 on: Learning in Year 2
For Climate Action Day, we made seed balls to help save the bees! We know that it is very important to take care of our world.
We had lots of fun making the seed balls!
Our visit to Greenwich

This term, Year 2 visited the Cutty Sark and the Maritime Museum as part of our topic 'Globetrotters'. We had lots of fun learning about ships and voyages.
Visiting Kew Gardens

This term we visited Kew Gardens as part of our exciting learning in Science.
The Great Fire of London
Year 2 on: Learning in Year 2
Year 2 have been busy learning about the Great Fire of London and we visited St Paul's Cathedral. After climbing hundreds of steps we reached the Stone Gallery and had a spectacular view of London!
